Here at Mother Trucker Yoga®, we focus on small, simple changes that lead to the big results™. We are not interested in giving you another gym-based fitness program or fitness app for you to watch exercises and then do them for maybe a day, week, or month and then never do them again.
If weight gain, diabetes, and not enough exercise were the problems, then we’d already be on our way to a healthier, happy life. But, instead, we believe those are what we call “surface problems.”
Surface problems often arise from deeper issues that have gone neglected and unacknowledged for quite some time. These problems are often lifestyle problems and mindset issues. And until you clean up those, the surface issues will never go away.
To remove yourself from your day and go work out, and then you will be healthy. We are telling you that approach is wrong.
Very few drivers have time after a long day of driving, never knowing exactly where they will be or what the day will bring. And the idea of “working out,” although it has good intentions, isn’t always realistic. And With 86% of drivers obese, it’s clear this approach isn’t working.
You’ve probably heard, “If you do their gym-based workouts and follow their diet plan, you will be healthy as a truck driver.” But here me this, weight loss does not equal healthy, diets do not equal health, and working out does not equal fit.
If you want to be healthy, you must look at your lifestyle, not just adding a workout to your day.
There are surface problems and surface solutions, but we know to get results that stick, you have to go deeper. The health problems you are currently facing didn’t just magically appear. This was an accumulation over time, these have been brewing throughout your life, and that is why it’s time for you to focus on the root cause and create a lifestyle change, not just add a workout to your day to lose 10 pounds, hopefully.
And don’t worry, going deeper doesn’t mean more complicated. It means making this simpler and easier and stick for the long haul.

We believe that traditional exercises like push-ups, jumping jacks, and sit-ups will not help most truck drivers shift gears and change lanes regarding their health.
